Micah DeBose feels like he is establishing a relationship with Alabama football’s new staff.
DeBose attends Vigor High School in Alabama, and he is a 2025 four-star offensive lineman. He continues to be a top target for Alabama despite the many recent coaching changes in Tuscaloosa.
The Crimson Tide re-offered DeBose in January in one of DeBoer’s first recruiting moves.
DeBose feels the Alabama program is in good hands based on what he has seen so far from the staff.
“The message I got from them is that Alabama is still going to be Alabama,” DeBose told Touchdown Alabama. “Alabama is still going to be the same from how they coming in, from how they speaking and from how they doing things. I feel like Alabama will be good.”
Kalen DeBoer and the Tide’s defensive coordinator Kane Wommack visited Vigor last month and have showed DeBose a lot of love as a late.
“I really bonded with the new staff a lot too, Coach DeBoer and Coach Wommack. I’m bonding with them a lot. They’re good people. So, I definitely feel like Alabama is in good hands.”
The Vigor product named Ohio State, Auburn, Florida State, Alabama and Oklahoma as the teams recruiting him the hardest at the moment.
A visit to LSU is the only visit he has lined up at the moment. He does not have a commitment timeframe in mind.
At 6-foot-5 and 300 pounds, Debose is already considered one of the nation’s top 2025 offensive tackles. He paves the way for Vigor’s running attack as he destroys defenders while run blocking in space as he has shown an ability to get to the second level.
Vigor 4-Star OL Micah DeBose @MicahDebose has de-committed from Georgia.
DeBose holds offers from Alabama, Auburn, Ohio State and others.
