Peyton Woodyard (four-star safety) and Will Sanders (four-star offensive lineman) are anticipating an opportunity to impress Alabama’s coaching staff in spring practice. Both will be competing for a chance at playing time at their respective positions, especially Woodyard in the defensive secondary. The 6-foot-2, 188-pounder had a great career at St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower, Calif. Woodyard totaled 53 tackles, seven pass breakups, and an interception as a junior in 2022. He posted 62 tackles as a sophomore and chose Alabama over in-state power USC. Woodyard took the Tide over Georgia, Notre Dame, and Ohio State.

Sanders, a native of Brookwood, Ala., was one of the most powerful offensive linemen in the recruiting cycle.
He will be an offensive guard at the college level, possessing the ability to man-block, zone-block, and gap-block defensive linemen. Coach Mike Bramlett produced a monster on Sanders as he took Alabama over LSU, NC State, Missouri, and Vanderbilt.
