Another former Alabama staffer is headed out west.
According to a report from 247Sports’ Matt Zenitz, the Seattle Seahawks are hiring former Crimson Tide staffer Nick Perry to its defensive staff. Perry was previously a part of Nick Saban’s staff from 2017-20 where he served as a graduate assistant and then a defensive analyst and was a part of two national championships during his time.
Perry would then become a defensive backs coach for the Atlanta Falcons in 2021 and later transitioned to an assistant wide receivers coach in 2023.
Prior to his coaching days, Perry played under Saban at Alabama from 2010-14 where he helped win back-to-back BCS National Championships in 2011 and 2012.
