Tyler Lockhart reported an offer from Alabama football Thursday via social media.
Lockhart attends Winona Secondary School in Winona, Mississippi. He is a 2025 four-star linebacker, who holds recent offers from Auburn, Georgia and LSU.
Lockhart’s offer is further proof Alabama is going to go after hybrid and long athletic linebackers in the Kalen DeBoer era. The 6-foot-3, 215-pounder makes plays playing off-the-ball and rushing from the edge with his ability to play sideline to sideline.
The junior finished the 2023 football season with 104 total tackles and 29 tackles for loss.
