Alabama football’s first spring practice session under Kaleb DeBoer is approaching.
The staff at Touchdown Alabama Magazine will spotlight 30 players to watch over the spring with spring practice starting next week.
Up next is Alabama’s junior wide receiver, Kendrick Law.
Kendrick Law
Classification: Junior
Hometown: Shreveport, LA
Position: Wide Receiver
Size: 5-foot-11, 211 Pounds
2023 stats: 15 Receptions, 135 Receiving Yards
Summary
The receiver position is projected to be a beneficiary of Kalen DeBoer taking over the Alabama football program with his high-powered offensive attack.
Law looks poised to take advantage with his unique skill set. He is built like a running back at 5-foot-11 and 211 pounds, and he plays hard no matter where he is asked to line up. He is widely respected by his teammates as one of the fastest players on the team. His biggest contribution so far at Alabama may be the effort he has put forth on special teams.
This is nothing new to Law as he lined up and contributed at a variety of positions as a prospect at Captain Shreve High School. The Tide have attempted to tap into Law’s versatility in the past by lining him up in different positions within the offense including running back. This has not produced much success for the Louisiana native, but the Crimson Tide could just be hitting the tip of the iceberg when it comes to what he could be.
This spring should give Tide fans an early preview of what to expect from Law in the future.
