It got Amari Cooper, a former Alabama wide receiver, in a trade from the Dallas Cowboys on March 16, 2022.

The move turned out to be a success for the Browns as Cooper has produced back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons.
He posted a career-high 1,250 receiving yards last year and had a career-high nine touchdown catches in 2022. Cooper made the NFL Pro Bowl for the fifth time in his professional career in 2023 and first one with the Browns. Cleveland has now cashed in on another Crimson Tide alumnus and South Florida native. Jerry Jeudy, a former five-star in the 2017 recruiting class, is headed to the Browns from the Denver Broncos in exchange for a fifth and sixth-round pick.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network broke the news Saturday as Jeudy’s time as a Bronco has come to an end. He was selected at No. 15 overall in the 2020 NFL Draft. He endured injuries and on-field struggles in Denver, but Jeudy recorded 211 catches for 3,053 yards and 11 touchdowns in 57 career games.

Cooper won the Fred Biletnikoff Award — for college football’s top receiver — in 2014 at Alabama while Jeudy captured the honor in 2018 for the Crimson Tide. Both won at least one national championship under Nick Saban.
Cooper and Jeudy were first-round draft picks, and now the Browns have two high-powered Tide alums in the same offense.
