Former Alabama OL Landon Dickerson signs massive 4-year extension with Eagles

He was the unquestioned leader of Alabama’s 2020 Joe Moore Award-winning offensive line, and now he’s become beloved in the National Football League for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Landon Dickerson is staying in Philadelphia as he’s signed a massive, four-year contract extension.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network broke the news Monday as SportsTrust, the agency Dickerson is with, worked out the extension.

The former Alabama offensive lineman will have a base salary of $84 million with a maximum value of $87 million. Dickerson gets $50 million in total guarantees and a $20 million signing bonus. He also becomes the highest paid offensive guard in NFL history at $21 million per year. Philadelphia loves what it has in Dickerson and wants to build around him for years to come.

The North Carolina native is a two-time Pro Bowl (2022, 2023) selection. He was taken in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft by the Eagles. Dickerson came to the University of Alabama in 2019 as a transfer from Florida State. He set a tone of toughness, physicality, and excellence up front in 2020, helping the Crimson Tide have three Heisman Trophy finalist.

Dickerson was a leader on Alabama’s 2020 undefeated College Football Playoff National Championship team.
