Carter Scruggs received an offer from the Crimson Tide last week during a visit with Alabama football.
Scruggs attends Loudoun County High School in Virginia. He holds 13 college football offers, including recent offers from North Carolina State, Penn State and Syracuse.
Alabama’s offensive line coach Chris Kalilovic informed the 2026 recruit of his offer from the Tide.
“I had a long conversation one-on-one with Coach Kap, and he offered me at the end,” Scruggs said. “It’s unreal holding an offer from Alabama because I never thought I would be in position.”
The Virginia product’s visit included an up-close look at the Crimson Tide’s spring practice.
“The practice was a really cool experience,” Scruggs told Touchdown Alabama. “I got to see how coach Kap coaches and see how an elite program practices.”
At 6-foot-6 and 285 pounds, he gets off the football with bad intentions while lining up at tackle.
