Dorian Barney is set to return to Alabama later this month after visiting and earning an offer from the Crimson Tide earlier this month.
Barney attends Peachtree Ridge High School in Georgia. His college football offer total is above 30, and he is projected to be one of the nation’s top 2026 defensive back prospects. He will return to Alabama on March 28.
The sophomore recently told Touchdown he felt his Alabama offer validated his potential.
“It feels great because Alabama is one of the biggest and best schools in the world, and with me getting that offer, gives me a great feeling because I know I can play with the best and compete at the highest level,” Barney said.
The four-star is listed at 6-foot-1 and 170 pounds. He closes on the football really well and attacks it in coverage. The Georgia prospect also comes downhill with impressive speed and displays great reaction skills when he diagnoses where a play is going.
