Darrell Johnson announced a verbal commitment to Alabama football on Wednesday.
Johnson is a four-star athlete out of Dodge County High School in Eastman, Georgia. He currently garners a four-star rating from multiple recruiting sites. His commitment gives the Crimson Tide six 2025 commits.
At 6-foot-3 and 205 pounds, Johnson is one of the most explosive and electric prospects in the country. He has the ability to play at all three levels on the defensive side of the football and gets after the football like a heat-seeking missile. The Georgia product is the type of defensive player coaches dream about to defend the fast and athletic offensive players in today’s game.
