Kalen DeBoer comments on recent Alabama football recruiting momentum

Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer at the Crimson Tide's first spring practice of 2024

Alabama football is starting to build momentum on the recruiting trail with multiple 2025 recruits announcing verbal commitments to the Crimson Tide in recent weeks.

The Tide now have six 2025 commits, and their team recruiting ranking is on the rise across multiple recruiting sites. Four of those prospects committed to Kalen DeBoer and his staff. DeBoer was asked about the recent recruiting success during an interview with Ryan Fowler on The Game on Tide 100.9.

“A lot of them are coming to campus, we’re meeting with them and their families in different ways, FaceTime, Zooms, really investing a lot of time and trying to build those relationships,” DeBoer said. “I gotta first put a lot of that on our staff. Our staff just does a great job understanding that this is a priority. This is how you really build your program. It’s one of those where the recruiting is the lifeblood…I think they’ve done a great job up to this point, really sending the message.”

Alabama is now trending with other prospects heavily interested in joining the program. The next couple of months will be very interesting.
