Ziyare Addison earned an Alabama offer earlier this week, and the offer is one Addison feels is special to him.
Addison is a 2025 four-star offensive lineman out of Sumner High School in Riverview, Florida. He currently has a top 12, which includes Georgia, Florida State, Oregon and others.
Alabama’s offensive line coach Chris Kapilovic called Addison to inform him of his offer from the Tide.
“This program holds a special place in my heart,” Addison told Touchdown Alabama. “My uncle, Chris Rogers played for Alabama and won a national championship with them in 2009. Their history of developing strong offensive linemen is next level.”
The new Alabama target went on to give his thoughts on Kapilovic as a coach.
“He has an old-school coaching style but knows ball,” said Addison.
A visit to Alabama is something Addison is considering, but he does not have one planned at the moment with other plans in place.
At 6-foot-5 and 280 pounds, the Florida product lines up at left tackle. He is one of the more athletic offensive linemen in the 2025 recruiting class.
