Alabama has benefitted from having receivers transfer in from other programs and have success. Richard Mullaney, Gehrig Dieter, Jameson Williams, and Jermaine Burton benefitted well from the Tide. Mullaney came over from Oregon State in the summer of 2015 to help Alabama win a national championship.
Williams had one of the best seasons as a receiver in Crimson Tide history in 2021, coming over from Ohio State. He caught 79 passes for 1,572 yards and 14 touchdowns to aide the Tide to a Southeastern Conference Championship.
Does the Tide have another transfer weapon that is set to make waves in the fall?
Kobe Prentice, a junior, continues to stamp himself as the go-to receiver, but Alabama fans need to watch Germie Bernard.
The transfer from Washington made plays in the first scrimmage and came up consistent again.
