The city of Philadelphia (Pa.) has more than a great quarterback for the Eagles, but it has an even better person.
Jalen Hurts has grown in four seasons as a player; however, he has also endeared himself to the community. The native Texan gave back to the Philadelphia School District this offseason by donating $200,000 to install new air conditioners in 10 schools.

Zach Berman, a reporter for the Eagles, shared the news Friday. Hurts did a lot for the Tuscaloosa (Ala.) and Norman (Okla.) communities as a collegiate athlete. He took the University of Alabama and University of Oklahoma to the College Football Playoff and won conference championships with both schools. Hurts guided the Crimson Tide to a CFP National Championship in the 2017 season, even though he was benched for Tua Tagovailoa in the second half of the title game versus the Georgia Bulldogs.

He is excited about what the Eagles can do to return to the Super Bowl stage and capture a National Football League Championship. The two-time Pro Bowl selection (2022, 2023) and second-team All-Pro (2023) is ready to take another step in his journey of being one of the best in the league.
