Kalen DeBoer can recruit, and the Alabama head football coach has found a kicker for the Crimson Tide.
Graham Nicholson, a former standout at the University of Miami at Ohio, has committed to Alabama football from the NCAA transfer portal. He announced the news Sunday via X (formerly Twitter) as the Tide has a new kicker. Nicholson captured the Lou Groza Award, which is presented to college football’s top placekicker, last year after making 27 of 28 field goals and 35 of 37 extra point attempts. He earned first-team All-Mid American Conference (MAC), MAC Special Teams Player of the Year, and Consensus All-American honors in 2023. He joins a room that has Conor Talty, Upton Bellenfant, and other specialists.
