Todd Robinson told Touchdown Alabama Tuesday he has locked in an official visit with Alabama football.
Robinson is a 2025 athlete out of Valdosta High School in Georgia. He is set to officially the Crimson Tide on the weekend of May 31.
Alabama offered the Georgia product earlier this month. April was a big month for Robinson on the recruiting trail as he earned offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, LSU, South Carolina, Tennessee and USC.
Robinson’s Crimson Tide offer came from Kalen DeBoer.
“It meant a lot to be offered by one of the best football programs in the world,” Robinson told Touchdown Alabama after earning an offer from the Tide. “It felt good.”
DeBoer made a good impression on Robinson during his visit to Alabama a few weeks ago.
“He is cool, and he is very in tune with his players and has great energy throughout practice,” Robinson said when asked about his thoughts on DeBoer.
The surging prospect is the starting quarterback for Valdosta, and he is an explosive runner as a signal caller. He is a threat to score every time he touches the football. Alabama is interested in bringing him in to line up at defensive back. The athleticism and speed he displays give him the potential to be effective at a variety of positions at the next level.
