A look at projected rookie contracts for Alabama alums taken in rounds two through seven of NFL Draft

He retired from being the head coach of the University of Alabama football program in January; however, Nick Saban received one final gift from the National Football League Draft over the weekend.

Saban watched 10 of his players come off the board of last week, including three first-round selections. JC Latham (offensive tackle), Dallas Turner (linebacker), and Terrion Arnold (cornerback) started the event as first-rounders.

Kool-Aid McKinstry (cornerback) and Chris Braswell (linebacker) went in the second round, Jermaine Burton (wide receiver) went in the third round, Justin Eboigbe (defensive lineman) got called in the fourth round, Jase McClellan (running back) and Will Reichard (kicker) came off the board in the sixth round, and Jaylen Key (safety) was announced as “Mr. Irrelevant” in the seventh round at pick No. 257. Saban produced 47 first-round draft picks at Alabama since 2009, and he now has a player at every position taken in the draft. After looking at the projected rookie contracts of the first-rounders, we now break down the deals coming from the second to seventh round. Saban helped his final draft class create generational wealth for their families.

Chris Braswell

-Round selected: 2nd, No. 57 overall, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

-Contract details: 4 years, $6.7 million, $1.69 million signing bonus

Jermaine Burton

-Position: Wide Receiver

-Round selected: 3rd, No. 80 overall, Cincinnati Bengals

-Contract details: 4 years, $5.8 million, $1.04 million signing bonus

Justin Eboigbe

-Position: Defensive lineman

-Round selected: 4th, No. 105 overall, Los Angeles Chargers

-Contract details: 4 years, $4.87 million

Jase McClellan

-Position: Running back

-Round selected: 6th, No. 186 overall, Atlanta Falcons

-Contract details: 4 years, $4.22 million

Will Reichard

-Position: Kicker

-Round selected: 6th, No. 203 overall, Minnesota Vikings

-Contract details: 4 years, $4.19 million 

Jaylen Key

-Position: Safety

-Round selected: 7th, No. 257 overall, New York Jets

-Contract details: 4 years, $4.1 million
