Dashawn Jones told Touchdown Alabama Wednesday he will visit the Crimson Tide this weekend.
Jones is currently in the transfer portal.
The Maryland native spent the last three seasons at Wake Forest. He saw his most substantial playing time last season when he started in nine games at cornerback and finished the season with 37 total tackles, three interceptions and two pass break ups.
Alabama lost two defensive backs to the transfer portal during its spring window. It looks as if the Crimson Tide are seriously shopping in the portal for secondary pieces at the moment with Jones expected to visit.
