DaShawn Jones is expected to announce he will transfer to Alabama, per multiple reports.
Jones is currently in the transfer portal after playing three seasons at Wake Forest. The 2023 football season was his best season with the Demon Deacons as he started in nine games and finished the season with 37 total tackles, three interceptions and two pass breakups. If and when he officially announces his transfer destination is Alabama, he will become the second transfer defensive back to commit to the Tide, joining Kameron Howard, who is transferring from UNC-Charlotte.
The Crimson Tide are still expected to continue to target multiple other defensive players, who are in the portal.
