Kalen DeBoer provided an update on injured Alabama wide receiver, Jalen Hale when he talk to reporters at the Region Tradition Celebrity Pro-Am on Wednesday.
Hale suffered a ‘significant’ knee injury during spring practice with the Crimson Tide. The timeline of his return remains unclear at the moment with DeBoer describing the chances of a return next season for Hale as ‘tough.’
“This season will certainly be a tough one, but I do not want to also say that he would be out the entire year,” DeBoer said. “It depends on how long the season goes. He has done an amazing job, and the process and recovery for him has been sped up just even since the injury happened back in the spring.”
The Alabama wide receiver has remained in good spirits despite the uncertainty. He shared an update on his status Monday when he posted to X he was eyeing an ‘epic’ return to the field.
