Jamarrion Gordon posted on Twitter he will announce a commitment decision on Saturday.
Gordon attends Jackson High School in Jackson, Alabama. He is a sophomore and a member of the 2026 recruiting class. Multiple recruiting sites have the Jackson defensive back listed as a four-star recruit at the moment.
The four-star’s top ten currently consist of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU and others.
Gordon earned an offer from Alabama last month and had good things to say about the Crimson Tide.
“It means a lot to me, being one of the best college programs it is,” Gordon told Touchdown Alabama.
The 6-foot-2, 180-pounder shined in coverage at cornerback as a sophomore for the Aggies. His reaction skills were also impressive as he breaks on the football with good speed. The Jackson product has shown versatility in the secondary as well. As a safety, he has no problem coming downhill and getting his nose dirty by making big hits on ball carriers.
