Jamarrion Gordon announced a commitment to Alabama football Saturday via social media.
Gordon is a 2025 four-star defensive back out of Jackson High School in Jackson, Alabama. He currently garners a four-star rating from multiple recruiting sites and becomes the first 2026 prospect to commit to Alabama and Kalen DeBoer.
Alabama joined Gordon’s recruitment last month when the Tide offered him during a visit.
The 6-foot-2, 180-pounder shined in coverage at cornerback as a sophomore for the Aggies. His reaction skills were also impressive as he breaks on the football with good speed. The Jackson product has shown versatility in the secondary as well. As a safety, he has no problem coming downhill and getting his nose dirty by making big hits on ball carriers.
