He is ready for the upcoming college football season, but Jalen Milroe has been enjoying his down time too.

The junior quarterback for Alabama football was featured on the cover of the new Electronic Arts Sports College Football 25 and received an opportunity to toss the ceremonial first pitch over the weekend at a Birmingham Barons game.

Milroe, a native Texan, earned permanent team captain honors for his leadership in 2023. He guided the Crimson Tide to a Southeastern Conference Championship and a College Football Playoff appearance. Milroe helped Nick Saban dethrone a two-time defending national champion in Georgia for his final SEC Championship. The 6-foot-2, 220-pounder had 2,834 passing yards, 531 rushing yards, and 35 total touchdowns. He returns as one of the most experienced quarterbacks in the conference.

Milroe has a chance to capture several individual awards in the fall, including the Heisman Memorial Trophy.

Alabama fans will see how he performs, but it was good to watch him make the first pitch at the Barons game.
