Alabama 4-Star WR target Travis Smith Jr. sets commitment date

Travis Smith confirmed with Touchdown Alabama he is set to announce a commitment decision on July 13.

Smith is a product of Westlake High School in Georgia and is a 2025 four-star prospect. He is expected to choose between Alabama, Auburn, Georgia and Tennessee. The four-star will take multiple official visits before announcing a decision.

Alabama will get Smith back on campus next month for an official.

The Crimson Tide have continued to stay engaged with Smith since offering him on Junior Day in February.

“Coach Shephard and I sat for an hour after Junior Day and really got a chance to pick each other’s brain,” Smith told Touchdown Alabama. “He is very intelligent in terms of bringing the best out of his receivers and preparing them for the next level.”

The Georgia product is a bigger wide receiver at 6-foot-4 and approximately 200 pounds. His size and athleticism allow him to strive in jump-ball situations and when he is called upon to catch in traffic. He also runs his routes under control.
