Highly-ranked 2026 Edge schedules Alabama visit

Zion Elee plans to make a trip to the University of Alabama next month.

Elee is a product of Joppatowne High School in Maryland, and he currently garners a four-star rating from multiple recruiting sites. Most recruiting rankings have Elee listed among the top edge prospects in the 2026 class.

Alabama offered Elee in April, and he shared with Touchdown Alabama he respects the Crimson Tide program and is looking to learn more about Alabama.

“It means a lot one of the best schools in the country wants me,” Elee said. “Based on what I know, I am sure they are a really hard-working team, and they take care of all their players.”

The 6-foot-5, 225-pounder possesses prototypical size and length for a future edge defender. He flashes a quick get-off at the line of scrimmage and impressive backside pursuit when he is getting after ball carries. He also shows an ability to use his length to his advantage in a variety of ways, including to keep offensive linemen out of his chest and to tip balls once quarterbacks release a pass.
