The offensive line for Alabama allowed 44 sacks to Jalen Milroe in 2023, so the expectation for it to be much better. Chris Kapilovic replaces Eric Wolford as the position coach. A projection of the Tide’s starting offensive unit is below.
Kadyn Proctor, LT
Kadyn Proctor brings experience in his return to Alabama from the transfer portal after a brief moment at Iowa.
The 6-foot-7, 360-pounder made the Freshman All-SEC team for his efforts last year. He got better as the season went on, assisting the program to a Southeastern Conference Championship. Proctor is a special athlete that should lock down his side.
Tyler Booker, LG
Tyler Booker has played a lot of football, and he is back for Alabama at left guard.
He rotated between left and right guard as a freshman in 2022 while starting at left guard in 2023.
Booker earned first-team All-SEC honors from the Associated Press, earning 41 knockdown blocks last year. He allowed 2.5 sacks and 4.5 quarterback pressures across 676 snaps. Booker missed three assignments, but he is known as a mauler up front.
Parker Brailsford, C
Parker Brailsford played 15 games for the University of Washington in 2023, including 13 at center.
He helped the Huskies win the Joe Moore Award, which goes to the top offensive line in college football. Brailsford aided Washington to a Pac-12 Championship and a berth in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game. He chose to follow Kalen DeBoer to the Crimson Tide out the transfer portal. His athleticism and experience make him a very good center.
Jaeden Roberts, RG
Jaeden Roberts got his starting opportunity against Texas A&M in 2023 and never looked back.
The 6-foot-5, 315-pounder played 11 games, including eight starts at right guard.
He dominated in run-blocking and pass protection, allowing Alabama’s offense to have success. Roberts is an imposing presence that protects Jalen Milroe and clears the way for running backs. He is back for his fourth season with the Crimson Tide.
Elijah Pritchett, RT
Alabama has several names in the competition for starting right tackle, but Pritchett has the most experience.
He has gotten better with neutralizing speed rushers and keeping a strong base. Pritchett has to hold off Wilkin Formby, Miles McVay, Naquil Betrand, and Joseph Ionata. This is his opportunity to separate himself and take a starting spot.
