Cederian Morgan’s recruitment continues to grow with him earning an Alabama offer while camping on Friday.
Morgan is a rising junior at Benjamin Russell High School in Alexander City, Alabama. He is currently one of the country’s hottest recruits with him earning several offers this month including offers from Cincinnati, Florida State, Auburn, Mississippi State, Florida, Oregon and Missouri.
The in-state prospect feels his offer from Alabama is a special one.
“It means a lot,” Morgan told Touchdown Alabama. “It’s a dream come true as an in-state kid. I always watched Alabama growing up, and all of my family members are big Alabama fans. Any time it was a big game, we were the type of family that got together and just watched Alabama. It’s just a dream come true.”
Alabama’s head coach Kalen DeBoer informed Morgan of his offer at the end of camp. DeBoer appeared to be very impressed with the talented wideout.
“He talked to me after the camp, and he was like I’m one of the best 2026 receivers he has seen,” Morgan said. “For my class, he feels he can use me and build around me for the class of 26.”
Morgan has a lot of respect for DeBoer, and the 2026 recruit likes the way the Alabama head coach has operated his offenses in the past.
“He is a real good coach, real cool coach,” said Morgan. “He fits the playing style I like, swinging the ball around, taking shots and he’s really good at it. He’s been the best at it for a long time, and he likes to throw the ball. He has sent a lot of great receivers and quarterbacks to the league.”
College football programs are in hot pursuit of Morgan because of his ability to be a big and physical wide receiver, who can pull in contested catches and make plays after the catch.
“As a 6-foot-5, 200-pound receiver, I can run,” Morgan answered when asked what he does well on the field. “I can get out my breaks very fast and also I can go up and get the ball. I’m kind of an all-around package as a receiver.”
