London Simmons made his way to Tuscaloosa to visit with the Crimson Tide Friday ahead of a scheduled June official visit.
Simmons is a top 2025 target for Alabama along the defensive line. He attends Hartfield Academy in Flowood, Mississippi, and the rising senior currently garners a three-star rating from multiple recruiting sites.
Simmons’ first trip to Alabama since earning an offer from the Crimson Tide in April gave him an opportunity to meet members of the Tide’s staff.
“It was a great vibe,” said Simmons. “The staff as a whole is great. I love the environment.”
Alabama’s defensive line coach Freddie Roach got to spend some one-on-one time with Simmons during their workout session.
“It was great, just seeing how he coaches,” Simmons told Touchdown Alabama.
Kalen DeBoer also met Simmons on Friday.
“He is a great man, down to Earth,” Simmons said when discussing DeBoer. “It is easy to have a conversation with him.”
The Alabama target wrapped up his junior campaign with 80 tackles, 25 tackles for loss and 15 sacks. He lived in opponents backfield with his ability to disrupt plays early in their progression.

Simmons plans to return to Alabama for an official visit on the weekend of June 14.
