Miles McVay wants Ty Haywood in Tuscaloosa playing alongside him in the future.
Haywood is a five-star offensive lineman out of Ryan High School in Texas. The rising senior is coming off an official visit to Alabama where he got to spend some time with McVay. The Tide tackle looks to be helping Alabama recruit Haywood.

Haywood is a massive offensive tackle for Ryan High School (TX) at 6-foot-6 and 295 pounds. His strength and size allow him to physically dominate most high school defensive linemen. He seems to have a great understanding of a wide variety of blocking assignments. He has shown the ability to be effective in pass protection, zone blocking and combo blocking. He also appears comfortable blocking in space with his ability to get to the second level.
