ESPN’s College Football Playoff unveils kickoff times, networks for 12-team playoff schedule

We officially have times and networks in place for the 12-team College Football Playoff via ESPN.

The CFP Committee released the information on social media.

The scheduled format for the CFP will have Playoff First Round, Playoff Quarterfinals, Playoff Semifinals, and the National Championship. Two teams will matchup in the national title game on Jan. 20 at 6:30 p.m. CT on ESPN at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Ga. The Verb Fiesta Bowl, Rose Bowl, Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, and Allstate Sugar Bowl will be quarterfinal games while the Capital One Bowl and Goodyear Cotton Bowl are set as semifinal games. The CFP will begin its first round on Dec. 20. It is expected for the best four seeds to get a first-round bye. College football should be very entertaining in the fall.
