The determination to win a Southeastern Conference Championship and push for the College Football Playoff started for the University of Alabama after players began to believe in one term following a loss to Texas in 2023.

Let All Naysayers Know or “LANK” was created by Jalen Milroe and Terrion Arnold.

It became more than a slogan as the Crimson Tide used it to come together. Alabama earned a tough win over South Florida and went on to defeat every other opponent on its regular season schedule. The Tide dethroned Georgia in the SEC Championship matchup and came so close to playing for a national title. LANK started it, but now Alabama has another credo to join it.

Malachi Moore, a senior defensive back, started “If It Ain’t Wearing Crimson.” The statement was meant for those who left Alabama for other schools after Nick Saban retired. Merchandise is out with Moore’s slogan on there, and an assistant coach is all-in on it. Christian Robinson, the Tide’s outside linebackers coach, shared a photo Wednesday to X of him wearing an “If It Ain’t Wearing Crimson” shirt during a dinner with his position group. Moore appreciated his coach being bought in for the cause.

Robinson wants to prove himself to make sure the outside ‘backers are sacking quarterbacks and stuffing running backs.

Some feel that Saban’s retirement will set Alabama back a lot. Kalen DeBoer has confidence in his staff, and Robinson — among other coaches — desire to prove they can help the Tide win a College Football Playoff National Championship in year one.

Alabama’s first matchup will be against Western Kentucky on Aug. 31 at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
