Canadian RB wants wants to get in-depth look at Alabama during official visit

Shekai Mills-Knight is ready to be en route to Tuscaloosa after wrapping up an official visit to Miami.

Mills-Knight is one of the Crimson Tide’s 2025 running back targets, and he attends Baylor School in Tennessee. The 2025 recruit is originally from Canada, and most recruiting sites have him listed as a three-star recruit. He is looking to get a feel for Alabama and learn more about their running back room during his visit.

“I want to see it in depth and get a feel for it, check out the running back room and the vibes,” Mills-Knight said.

Alabama offered the Canada native in April. The Tide’s running back coach Robert Gillespie visited Mills-Knight at Baylor after he earned the offer and made the rising senior feel ‘wanted.’

“It means a lot from a top prestigious program like them,” Mills-Knight told Touchdown Alabama after he earned an offer from the Tide. “It means I’m recognized as one of the best. They have a great history. I feel like they’ll stay on top and continue to be dominant.”

At 6-foot-2 and 215 pounds, Mills-Knight is a patient but decisive ball carrier, who fights for extra yards at the end of runs by embracing and powering through contact. He also has shown an ability to make plays while catching the football out of the backfield and operate with elusiveness in space.
