Kalen DeBoer offers Tennessee 4-Star DB who has ‘been looking forward’ to Alabama offer

Caden Harris left Tuscaloosa with an offer from Alabama football Wednesday after working out in front of Tide coaches.

Harris is a product of Haywood High School in Brownsville, Tennessee, and he is listed as a four-star recruit on multiple recruiting sites. The 2026 recruit currently holds more than 20 college football offers with previous offers from Arkansas, LSU, Mississippi State and others.

“I was very happy,” Harris told Touchdown Alabama. “This was something I’d been looking forward to for a long time. The program is great. I like how transparent the coaches are and that the standard is still the same.”

Kalen DeBoer sat down with Harris during the four-star’s Wednesday trip to inform him of his offer.

“It was great talking to him,” said Harris. “I felt like a priority.”

Harris is a 6-foot, 170-pound defensive back, who has long arms and knows how to use his length to his advantage. He appears to play with smooth confidence with great ball-judgement skills.

“I think I run well, and I am great in situations that cause me to react quickly with a high football IQ,” Harris answered when asked what he feels he does well.
