London Simmons is ready to get back to Tuscaloosa to learn more about Alabama football.
Simmons is a 2025 defensive lineman out of Hartfield Academy in Flowood, Mississippi, and he currently garners a three-star rating from multiple outlets. He is currently considering Alabama, Arkansas, North Carolina State and others.
The Crimson Tide offered the Mississippi product in April and got him on campus earlier this month for an unofficial visit.
The rising senior is looking to get more comfortable with the Tide this weekend.
“I’m looking forward to being down there again and just getting to know the coaches and the players more and learning more about Alabama as a whole,” Simmons told Touchdown Alabama.
Simmons’ visit earlier the month allowed him to meet Kalen DeBoer and spend some time with the Crimson Tide’s defensive line coach Freddie Roach.
“It was a great vibe,” said Simmons. “The staff as a whole is great. I love the environment.”
North Carolina State hosted Simmons for an official visit last month.
The Razorbacks will host Simmons next weekend. He is currently interested in making a decision before his senior season kicks off.
“I don’t really have an exact date, but I’m wanting to commit before my senior season,” said Simmons.
The 6-foot-3 prospect may not have the star rating other highly sought-after prospects have next to their name, but his film speaks for itself. He explodes out of his stance upon the snap of the football and causes disruption in the backfield. He also moves efficiently in space for a player his size.
