Trent Seaborn is back letting it rip for the Thompson Warriors during the off-season team 7v7 circuit.
Seaborn led the Warriors to a 7v7 tournament championship at the University of Alabama over the weekend for the second year straight. The Crimson Tide’s head coach Kalen DeBoer and Alabama’s offensive coordinator Nick Sheridan caught up with the rising sophomore at the end of the 7v7 tournament.
“It was good,” Seaborn told Touchdown Alabama. “It was really the first time I got to spend a lot of time with coach DeBoer and coach Sheridan. They came over to me and my family after we won the championship and got to meet my parents and little brother too, and we all spent a lot of time talking and getting to know each other.”
Sheridan plans to stay in contact with Seaborn as the 2027 recruit prepares to help the Warriors make a run at anther 7A State Championship in 2024.
The Thompson product has reported more than 15 college football offers, including previous offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Oregon and others. Seaborn jumped on the recruiting scene when he threw five touchdowns in the Warriors’ 2022 state championship victory.
At 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds, Seaborn can spin it and deliver the deep ball with impressive accuracy. He has also shown the ability to make a variety of throws.
