It took Nick Saban three years to win his first national championship as the Alabama football head coach in 2009.

He went on to become a six-time national champion and elevate the Crimson Tide’s program.

Kalen DeBoer takes over as Saban’s successor, but how quickly can he win his first national title at Alabama? The 49-year-old nearly delivered the University of Washington to a College Football Playoff National Championship in 2023.
