London Simmons announced a commitment to Alabama football.
Simmons is a 2025 defensive lineman out of Hartfield Academy in Flowood, Mississippi. Most recruiting sites have him listed as a three-star recruit, but his rating is subject to change as evaluations continue.
Alabama has been trending in a good direction for Simmons for several weeks.
The Crimson Tide offered Simmons in April when he only held six offers. They got the Mississippi product on campus for an unofficial visit a couple of weeks ago, and he returned for an official visit over the weekend.
The 6-foot-3 prospect may not have the star rating other highly sought-after prospects have next to their name, but his film speaks for itself. He explodes out of his stance upon the snap of the football and causes disruption in the backfield. He also moves efficiently in space for a player his size.
