Carsyn Baker impressed Alabama football’s coaching staff at camp Saturday and earned an offer from the Crimson Tide.
Baker is a 2026 recruit out of Langston Hughes High School in Georgia, and he is a four-star recruit on most recruiting sites. He holds more than 15 college football with offers from Auburn, Tennessee and others.
Baker’s offer came after a conversation with Kalen DeBoer and the Tide’s running back coach Robert Gillespie.
“It means a lot, knowing Alabama is a school that produces good back, and they believed in me,” Baker said. “Alabama is just a winning school with a good coaching staff, good facilities, and they have a lot of hardware.”
The rising junior had some good things to say about DeBoer after the visit.
“DeBoer is a great coach with a good staff, and I think he’s going to keep the winning tradition going at Alabama,” Baker told Touchdown Alabama.
At 6-foot-2 and 200 pounds, Baker is a tough runner, who does not let arm tackles bring him down as he consistently fights for yards after contact. He also displays good vision as he finds holes and openings to blast through
