It is clear Keelon Russell wants Akylin Dear in the backfield with him in the future.
Russell is a four-star quarterback out of Duncanville High School in Texas, and he is committed to Alabama. Dear is a four-star running back, who is currently committed to Ole Miss, but Alabama is still actively recruiting him.
The Alabama pledge is give his pitch to get Dear to Tuscaloosa.
“Come to Bama. We are going to be unstoppable in the backfield,” Russell posted to Instagram.

Dear officially visited Alabama and had plenty of good things to say after a ‘dope’ official visit.

Alabama is looking to add another running back to its 2025 class with them currently holding a commitment from four-star running back, Anthony Rogers.
