Russell led Duncanville High School to a state championship and totaled 38 touchdown passes in 2023. Some of the best quarterbacks in the Elite 11 have played at Alabama, including Tua Tagovailoa and Bryce Young. Tagovailoa became the Elite 11 Most Valuable Player in 2016 and helped the Crimson Tide to a College Football Playoff National Championship in 2017.
We will see what Russell is able to accomplish.
