Kalen DeBoer, Alabama’s head coach, said a while back during an event in Mobile (Ala.) that he will play the best guys on the field. He reclassified to the 2024 class, but Williams showed throughout his high school tenure that he’s one of the best in the game. He earned “Mr. Football” in the state of Alabama twice and was twice named Gatorade Player of the Year in Alabama.
Pro Football Focus named Williams in the top 10 for freshman wide receiver recruits entering this season.
He stands at No. 3 behind Cam Coleman (Auburn) and Jeremiah Smith (Ohio State).

Williams, who is arguably the most talented in-state receiver recruit since Julio Jones, is ready to put on a show this fall.
