The event featured 20 of the nationβs top rising-senior quarterback prospects.
Russell will become the first Alabama quarterback to win the award since Tua Tagovailoa did in 2016 when he signs with Alabama in December. The MVP Award is determined by film and camp performance.

Last yearβs winner Julian Sayin was committed to the Tide when he earned the award in 2023. He transferred to Ohio State following Nick Sabanβs retirement.
