Kalen DeBoer and Alabama’s offensive line coach Chris Kapilovic extended an offer to Zaden Krempin on Saturday.
Krempin attends Prosper High School in Prosper, Texas, and he garners a four-star rating from most recruiting sites. He holds more than 30 college football offers, including previous offers from Michigan, Texas and others.
DeBoer informed Krempin of his offer from the Crimson Tide.
“It felt really good hearing coach DeBoer tell me he wants me to play for the Crimson Tide,” Krempin told Touchdown Alabama. “There have been so many incredible offensive linemen come out of that school. I’m extremely grateful to have this offer and opportunity.”
The rising junior has a lot of respect for Alabama’s tradition of success on the gridiron. He got to get a glimpse of the program during his visit
“Alabama is rich in tradition and getting to see all the National Championship rings and trophies was very cool,” Krempin said. “They know what they’re doing at Alabama. The facilities are amazing and the campus was awesome.”
Krempin currently stands at 6-foot-5 and weighs approximately 270 pounds. He finishes blocks when paving the way for ball carriers and displays great footwork, agility and body control when pass-blocking.
