Kalen DeBoer is the head coach, but the summer portion of the offseason program for Alabama football belongs to David Ballou.

The Director of Sports Performance for the Crimson Tide had players working the catapult system in Wednesday’s practice.

Ballou had the players training on speed, conditioning, and had each position strengthening their work ethic.

Several guys were featured in the practice video from the Tide’s social media — including Malachi Moore, Jalen Milroe, Tyler Booker, Parker Brailsford, Kobe Prentice, Jihaad Campbell, and Keanu Koht. Freshmen names such as Jeremiah Beaman, Red Morgan, Kevin Riley, Dre Kirkpatrick Jr., and Ryan Williams were featured as well. Alabama has a team that’s going after a College Football Playoff National Championship in Coach DeBoer’s first year in the program this fall.

Fall camp will be exciting to watch when it arrives in August.
