Kaleb Edwards announced a verbal commitment to Alabama football on Tuesday.
Edwards attends Oak Ridge High School in El Dorado Hills, California. The rising senior is a consensus four-star recruit, and he is one of the nation’s top 2025 tight-end prospects.
The California product chose the Crimson Tide over Auburn, Oregon, Texas, UCLA and Washington.
The 6-foot-6, 240-pounder is a complete tight end recruit, who has experience lining up attached to the line of scrimmage and out wide. One of the biggest strengths of his game is how explosive he is out of his stance when he is along the offensive line and goes out for a pass. He is also one of the better route running tight ends in the 2025 recruiting class. His ability to be a mismatch in coverage and his reliable hands make him a big get for the Tide.
