Will Anderson provided his thoughts on the state of Alabama football with Kalen DeBoer taking over for Nick Saban on Friday.
Anderson, who played for Alabama from 2020 to 2022 before getting drafted by the Houston Texans, was a guest on the “Rich Eisen” Show and revealed he feels the Crimson Tide are in good hands with DeBoer in charge.
“He comes from a winning culture,” Anderson said. “He’s won everywhere he has been. I think it allows the players to be a little bit more free and relax a little bit, which I think is a good thing nowadays. I think coach Saban left a really great standard there, a lot of great discipline, a lot of great people there, a lot of great players he recruited. I know that the new coach staff, they’re going to come in and do their thing, just talking with the guys, they love it and they’re excited about it. I can’t do nothing but love it too and be excited about it and wishing them the best.”
Alabama football’s first fall camp under Kalen DeBoer is quickly approaching.
