Milroe, a redshirt junior, has had a successful offseason.

He performed well in spring practice, trained with some of the best guys throughout the summer, and spent time at the Manning Passing Academy.
The native Texan participated in team bonding activities and is enjoying the offseason conditioning program to prepare for the fall.
Milroe could be one of a few players to accompany Kalen DeBoer at Southeastern Conference Football Media Days in Dallas, Texas.
The event is from July 15-18 at the Omni Hotel, and the Crimson Tide speaks on Wednesday, July 17.
Milroe got very excited Wednesday on a podcast for SEC Unfiltered about how explosive Alabama’s offense will be. He is back as one of the best quarterbacks in the conference and in college football.
“We’re gonna be very explosive on offense…one thing I can definitely say we’re not gonna be is one dimensional.”

“We are going to be very explosive on offense,” Milroe said. “We have a lot of great talent that’s around, whether it goes from wide receiver room, offensive line room, running back room, or tight end room. As a whole, that is going to put us in position to be successful this year. One thing I can definitely say is we are not going to be one dimensional. We have a really good receiver room, the receiver group plays all differently. When you have that, you can’t be one dimensional. We have a tight end room that’s going to be utilized in the passing game and running game. The challenge every day is to master that aspect of the football, and they are doing a really good job of that. The running back group — they all play differently — and they play to their strengths, but also are doing a really good job of coming together as one unit and challenging each other to be their best every day.”
Alabama will have balance and explosiveness on offense. After seeing success from Lane Kiffin and Steve Sarkisian as play callers, it should be fun to watch what DeBoer, Nick Sheridan, and JaMarcus Shephard draw up for this group.
Milroe feels he can do anything in this system, so we may be seeing something exciting.
