He is one of three veteran players that will accompany Kalen DeBoer at SEC Football Media Days for Alabama, but Jalen Milroe has much more in store for him.
The native Texan produced a solid first year as a starting quarterback, leading the Crimson Tide to a Southeastern Conference Championship and a College Football Playoff berth.

He was the Most Valuable Player of the SEC title matchup and finished the 2023 campaign with 2,834 passing yards and 35 total touchdowns.
Milroe is back with more confidence for the upcoming season, and a media outlet projects him as a high-end draft pick for 2025. According to Ian Valentino of The 33rd Team, he has the junior getting selected at No. 11 overall of the 2025 NFL Draft by the New Orleans Saints. It would reunite Milroe with his former Alabama teammate, Ga’Quincy “Kool-Aid” McKinstry, but also put Derek Carr on the clock as New Orleans would look at Milroe as its future. It will be interesting to see if it happens.
