Mater Dei 6-foot-6 OL ‘knows’ Alabama is going to be successful under Kalen DeBoer

Kodi Greene reported an offer from Alabama football on last month.

Greene attends Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California, and he is a member of the 2026 recruiting class. He currently garners a four-star rating from multiple recruiting sites and most have him listed among the top 10 tackle prospects in his class.

Alabama’s offensive line coach Chris Kapilovic informed Greene of his offer from the Crimson Tide.

“I was feeling very excited because Alabama is a school I could see myself playing for,” Greene told Touchdown Alabama after earning the offer.

The Tide’s head football coach Kalen DeBoer is familiar with Greene. DeBoer offered the rising junior last summer when he was at Washington.

Greene is looking forward to learning more about Alabama football to build upon his knowledge of the program.

“I don’t know too much now, but what I do know is that they are going to be very successful under the coaching of coach DeBoer,” Greene said.

The Mater Dei product is interested in visiting Alabama.

“I plan to visit as soon as I can, just have to make sure my schedule allows me to,” said Greene.

At 6-foot-6 and 290 pounds, Greene flashes impressive agility, the ability to finish blocks and solid footwork to go along with the ability to get to the second level when run blocking in space.
