Benjamin Russell 6-foot-5 star proven he is state of Alabama’s next big-time wide receiver prospect

Cederian Morgan is turning heads literally and figuratively as he continues to make his name on the recruiting front.

There is no need to take anyone else’s word for it, Morgan can tell why he is earning offers from some of the nation’s top college football programs.

“As a 6-foot-5, 200-pound receiver, I can run,” Morgan said. “I can get out my breaks very fast and also I can go up and get the ball. I’m kind of an all-around package as a receiver.”

Morgan has earned offers Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Kentucky, Miami, Mississippi State, Oregon and Tennessee since the beginning of May. The Crimson Tide, the Tigers and the Buckeyes extended offers to Morgan after watching him camp. Alabama’s head coach Kalen DeBoer told Morgan he was one of the best 2026 receivers in the country.

“He talked to me after the camp, and he was like I’m one of the best 2026 receivers he has seen,” Morgan said. “For my class, he feels he can use me and build around me for the class of 26.”

The Benjamin Russell High School product provided a glimpse of what to expect from him this upcoming season in the spring when he pulled in two touchdowns and 186 receiving yards on seven receptions against Auburn High School. The best way to described Morgan in the game was a terror to cover as he appeared to create separation with each of his long strides throughout the progression of his routes. He also displayed an ability to create distance from defenders with deceptiveness while running his routes along with the ability to hit another gear with the football in his hands.
